HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

We, at Eptagon Scaffolding Ltd recognize the fact that health and safety have positive benefits to the organisation and commitment to a high level of safety makes good business sense and that health and safety is the responsibility of everyone within the organisation and is not just a function of management. Eptagon Scaffolding Ltd pledges to ensure that:

• Strive to achieve the goal of zero accidents and injuries

• Management will ensure that appropriate systems are developed and maintained for the effective communication of health and safety matters throughout the organisation]

• risk assessments are carried out and periodically reviewed.

• Management considers that health and safety rates equal to all other business functions and will attach equal importance to achieving health and safety targets.

• Train all employees in safe work practices and procedures.

• Provide employees with necessary personal protective equipment and train them to use and care for it properly

• the provision and maintenance of all plant, machinery and equipment is safe and without risk to health.

• the working environment of all employees is safe and without risks to health and adequate provision is made with regard to the facilities and arrangements for their welfare at work.

• accidents and 'near-misses' are fully investigated and appropriate action taken to reduce the likelihood of their occurrence.

Managers, supervisors, and all other employees share responsibility for a safe and healthful workplace:

• Management is accountable for preventing workplace injuries and illnesses and will consider all employee suggestions for achieving a safer, healthier workplace.

• The company believes in constantly improving health and safety standards and performance. It will to this end endeavour to ensure that all relevant statutes, Regulations and Codes of Practice are complied with. The minimum requirements that will be adopted by the company are those required by law, although the company will seek always to exceed these where there is a demonstrable benefit.

• The company will ensure that health and safety are fully integrated into the management and decision-making processes within the organisation.

• The company will ensure that arrangements are put into place for the effective planning, development and review of this policy statement.
